Tom's Turbulent Winds
Thomas Redwine's addition, of storms and conditions
Brings forth much beauty with harm
To those who can see it, it's really no secret
All are consumed by its charm

Each hurricane's strength, stretches out to a length
Amid strong winds, no man can control
Its havoc extends, beyond reason times ten
In its wake, each succombs to its toll

Frances began, with its surf on the land
Ranging between a four and a five
The closer it got, people fled from their spots
Then returned to see who had survived

A satellite warning, may prevent needless mourning
Of loved ones caught up in this mess
It may be disarming, and even alarming
Yet lives all are worth the distress ©

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 - 1791)
> Baroque and Rococco, were periods where a live show
> Featured Wolfgang and Leopold Mozart, alike.
> The younger composer, was thought to be older
> Performing profoundly with staccato and allegro so light.

> Wolfgang had promise, though frail and an alarmist
> Strived to be different than most.
> No erasures in his music; each score was just perfect
> As his father, Leopold, would quickly, . . .boast.

> Josef Haydn was teacher, to this odd little creature
> Amadeus revered the Father of Music, with delight
> The Magic Flute's charm, was fanciful and warm
> As its audiences raved with approval each night.

> Mozart's music carries on, through two centuries and beyond
> In every country this globe seems to span
> It was 1791, when his illness finally won
> Yet his music still brings many new fans

EQUINOX
Dust stirring round, in clouds that abound, with leaves floating high in the air
Just in the wake, swirling all shapes, with a storm that builds up a good scare
Chances are slim, that one hundred mile an hour winds, will cease at a moment's calm
Howling sounds whirring, whistling louder with fury, bending trees and some neighboring palms
Equinox is the reason, during this time of season, spooky darkness in mid-day's delight
It certainly heightens, with every creature it frightens, and will remain the same all night

A Beautiful Mind
Distracted by lists, amid occasional twists, to a plot that has no beginning nor end
Schizophrenic spells, locked into small shells, where walls seem to conract and extend
A doctor inclined, to key numbers he finds, from combinations of matrices grim
In dreams carries out, some delusional bouts, yet his sanity would triumph and win
A Beautiful Mind, would not stray far behind, rather carry him ahead to his fame
T'was no surprise, that he remained very wise, yet for others, such ordeals, could mame

Dictation
Words pouring out, through a fountain pen's spout, on bark, thick paper or thin
Ideas that glow, through a stream's steady flow, inspiring and ignited with whim
A single mark made, as in strokes of the trade, calligraphically drawn with a pen
Notes also were written, Wolfgang Mozart's seemed smitten, yet done with such love; no pretense
One distinct theme; subject, thought or a dream, laid out in one's head with a pattern
Rhymed with delight, metered verse quite contrite, as a flash-bulb that lights a dark cavern.

Little Time for Poems
Little time, brings to mind, the things that make it tick
Just words and thoughts, that rhyme a lot, but will never make one sick
Phrases saved, with humour brsved, in tune with what is quick
Then a pause, . . .in every clause, to retain what may seem slick
A slight of hand, strikes up a strand, of silk with wand or stick
It's not yet known, if it's real or thrown, or just a harmless trick

A Training Workshop in Wanganui
Finger foods, lifted the moods, of those attending that fine luncheon
Shery Mead, planted seeds, in many heads during the function
Odd thing was, her resemblence buzzed, like the sounds from a Nickelodeon
It Struck some keys, like melodies, which uttered  the name,. . . Elodia
A Maori bone, she may call her own, was presented to her with honour
For "personal growth", one must take note, it helps each to be stronger
This symbolic gift, shall make one swift, in gathering thoughts for all that's helpful
It will eschew the negative from all that's relative and encourage one to be healthful
She was quite verklempt, in her attempts, to suppress her feelings of joy
Frank Bristol, a chariman quite cool, took Ms. Mead to Bushy Park
The rains came down, all over town, yet they took off before twas dark

The Irrepressible, Shery Mead
Shery Mead, is indeed, the guru of Trauma and Peer Support
She's welcomed here, and shall appear, at One Great North Road
I do implore, I'm a peer counselor, and will be hostess to this fine guest
Chinese food amid drinks and brew with hor-d'oureves that taste the best
All the way from America, she'll will provide examples and lecture us on this
She shall relate to the "give and take" then drink to an imbecilic bliss

A Downward Spiral
Blazing voices in an downward spiral
Attempts to speak may seem quite a trial
Shy and bewildered by the few who attend
Not entirely alone yet too timid to contend
Words not so easy to convey on internet
Paltalk has its experts to respond and direct
Rosemary and Tayler have been doing this awhile
Reaching out to those who detest their own denial

Paltalk's Refrain
A poetic piece, to those who merit a feast, by true compassion, good thoughts and advice
Due to this, I'm inspired, and duly admire, that in their hearts only the best will suffice
So little we know, change occurs as we grow, and the problems that fill our heads with such blame
Thinking there is little to teach; once our thirties are reached, yet it's up to us to learn just the same
Paltalk's refrain, is what all need to gain, through atonement, self-help and just cause
Everyone will then see, that the good they will reap, will benefit them, by eschewing their flaws

Paltalk's Advice
Balance is key in producing good vibes
Learning all this can save plenty of lives
Where darkness once dwelt amid thoughtless disgrace
Glimmering rays of hope now appear on each face
Harried and hurried, pushing good plans to fail
Now, lingering silence of quiet prevails
From dusk until dawn, much confusion ensued
Through Paltalk's advice all the bad turns to good

Pip's Thoughts
So pleased with the both of you for inviting me to stay
Suggestions I had about Jack's woes, shouldn't darken any day
His jealousies resulted from, 2nd child syndrome and mum's ways
The over-compensation of you, kept poor Jack in the fray
All the while I was horrible to you and Marshall didn't stray
Maintaining such a bitterness to you boys from June through Spring in May

David's Assessment
Reverend David has read your site; absorbing every detail
He's thankful items placed; were strategically insightful
God's light shines a brighter beam upon the few who take real action
And are a beacon for the rest who follow that attraction

Not Past or Future Just Now

Ask me about my past
I have one, but I don't live there any more
I have grown and now know what is done is done
And I can not change it
So I have learned, to go on and learned from my mistakes
Ask me about my future
And I will tell you, I have no future
For it has many paths
And I have yet to walk them
So that leaves the present
And that I have under my command
For what I do today, may affect my future
But it will have nothing, to do with my past
For with inner peace and love
And God's help above
I finally feel at last
I don't live in the past

Nurturing

There is an Indian proverb or axiom that says that everyone is a house with
four rooms, a physical, a mental, an emotional, and a spiritual. Most of us
tend to live in one room most of the time but, unless we go into every room
every day, even if only to keep it aired, we are not a complete person.

( Rumer Godden in "A House with Four Rooms")

Green Eyes
Effusive gaze locked into her lovely eyes
Thoughts filling his head; amid deep, languid sighs
Captured illusion during this awkward glance
Deftly felt passion, through a moment entranced
Eager to speak as his mind wrestled weary
To utter such words; would hasten his query
The beauty surrounding such gorgeous green eyes
Belonged to this lady; Rosemary, . . surprise!

Pecksniff the Cat
Stirring up a household then rushing out in a blur
Is Pecksniff the cat with smokey grey fur
Comes and goes as she pleases without much to say
This happens at night ; but mostly during the day
Sometimes is quite friendly; meowing out with much laughter
Creating messes and havoc, which ensues shortly thereafter
Eight sharpened claws extend for playing and sparing
If she gets mad; she'll be there for the calling
Neither lap cat nor tender for various reasons
Preying on birds and vermin throughout the four seasons

Balance Newsletter
A dose of my meds taken with a half glass of water
Makes the day seem okay knowing nothing will bother
Together we gather as we share each of our talents
The Newsletter informs us and keeps us in balance

Aunque piensen lo que piensen
Estos niños sólo son
El enigma de las bolsas
Qué sus padres llenaron

No entienden lo que hablan
Ni escrito lo que ven
Siempre riéndose del fulano
A quien no le conoce

De los mares y la lluvia
O los peces de la cual
Nadie sabe lo que dice

Without Judgment
Composure and patience lost in a hell
Where reason and knowledge no longer dwell
Abstract thoughts obscure and compel

Succumbed to discord bound by a spell
People's compassion embraces this shell
Support without judgment to make one well

Useless Stress
Going mad to help others impaired
Through patience, compassion, love and care
Wrapped up in the chaos, no rescue to self
Forgetting one's needs for sound mental health
Without priorities set for reasonable counsel

Will render one insane, distraught and dysfunctional

Balance
Fight or flight may sound contrite; to those who have no need
So often said, that time is dread; much effort to work its deed
No time to stop; give up or drop; rather trod forth and carry on
One makes do; and starts anew; together we're all strong
To even out; the dismal doubt, allow others to give you hope
Don't place blame, on endless names; just share to better cope

Little Girl Lost
Misplaced in a world without freedom of choice
Crying out, "help me" in a suffering voice
Eerie cries from a little girl down the hall
Where moments before; there was no one at all
Waiting for peace from a welcoming hand
She's searching for resolve in an unknown land

Ghostly Cries
Misplaced in a world without freedom of choice
Crying out, "help me" in a suffering voice
Eerie cries from a little girl down the hall
Where moments before; there was no one at all
Waiting for peace from a welcoming hand
And searching for resolve in an unknown land

Old Reels
Films from the archives of an old studio lot
Farce and slapstick with Our Gang full of tots
Props set the stage with some trucks and old cars
Scenes from L.A. or camp-outs beneath stars
The Little Rascals offered Spanky, Alfalfa and Darla
Weaser, Furina, Tubby, Jackie and Buckwheat; their stardom.
Downtown in the city, Laurel & Hardy faced steps for a climb
The boys were delivering a piano in a box that would chime
Exhuberant laughter amid tears filled the screen
Hal Roach was director with a budget quite lean

Rascal Memories
Shades of old films in which young actors were seen
During the mid 30's when Depression was king
Locations were key to exhibit such themes
Gleaning the humour from havoc, it seems
Life looked much simpler as displayed by the team
Through laughter and mayhem stirred up in one's dreams
Hal Roach was director with a budget so lean
Made stars of the Rascals who appeared on the screen

Actor's Milieu
The cinema's portrayal of villains and rogues
Were brought to an audience at neighborhood shows
Well-known actors filled the wide screen
Deliveing their lines to various themes
Ladies and gentleman, children and guests
Were given the role if they passed a screen test.

Angels Voices
These are times to sit and dream
Ponder daffodils and other things
Feel the light that yearns to touch
Your heart and soul in all you trust
From angels voices near to you
Harking soft melodic tones to soothe
Then you'll know your fears are gone
As they closely watch and sing that song

Yellow Daffodil
A garden's sunshine in winter's light
First of many to warm this sight
Daffodil of yellow amid a sky so blue
Tea cup and saucer of such lovely hue
Spring draws nearer with this bloom
And winter will fade, along with the gloom

Give Your Fears to God
Trust in God without despair
Know His love through reverent prayer
Smile, rejoice and know He cares
Sit back, relax, He's always there
Give your fears to God and share
Your blessings to those in despair

Fairies Plight
Vignettes of scenes in dreams so clear
Through a moment's glance; no longer here
Thoughts consume and fill our heads
Pondering about what we're fed
Relax and think of times of fun
Know that fairies' wings are spun

Gold dust seldom loses weight
Transcending air that will inflate
They shine and sparkle every bark
Light the shadows in the dark
Dense forest awakens each in flight
Sweet fairies now are not in sight

Behold the Sun
Meadows, trees and hills of gold
Beneath our sun; in awe, . . .behold
Rays pierce through dense clouds on sight
Reaching deer and birds in flight

Vast fields of wheat and corn extend
Beyond one's own comprehension
Over land and sea below
Shone on everything that grows

Twilight's bright enchanted skies
Hues that paint our deepest sighs
Enriched with vitamins and love
Behold the sun that shines above

Daily Growth
Draw deep breaths; exhaling slowly
Begin your day just gently strolling
Find new paths to wander drily
Embrace each one; but ponder wisely

Laugh or cry without a reason
Smile then shout in any season
Games to play in times of fun
Engage in these with anyone

Know your strengths and limits purely
Chart their growth and trends assuredly
Keep touch with all of life's aspects
Indulge in one's own self-respect

Tayler's Trip
Tasteless tracks team testy trolls
Troddened trails that take their toll
Tangled tasks too tough to tend
Trying times test toiling trends

Dee's Daily Dread
Daunting drones demand dollars due
Dreaded daydreams draw de-ja-vú
Defiant dear dampens daily deeds
Dusty digs divulge delinquencies

Carol's Cries
Candid calls create chortling chaos
Clapping choir corral chanting coos
Croaking cats colour cunning chords
Clicking clocks cast clever course

Rosemary's Relished Roots
Rifling registered reverent readings
Regularly rally referenced revealings
Repeated roads revolve right routes
Restored relics rope relished roots

Cat's Calamity
Cats cause chaos chasing charms
Carefully cease cupboards' calm
Crashing clapboards, clawing coats
Clashing colours, clipping cords

A Paradox
> A paradox unlocks the stops that block our understanding
> Changing the things, from vivid dreams; now fulfilled and outstanding
> Sincerety is visibly; respectful gestures through such actions
> It's often said, we dread what's read, until we find a new distraction

Pip, you're quite fit, for a visit, to see us and embrace the family
It's been awhile; to reconcile, and this would be quite timely
It may be that Jack, is on the right track, not to rebuff; rather, a reunion
It's a great venue, to start anew,  and to join in on renewing
Tamsyn may dare, to meet the fare, because she knows that mum and I do miss her
You're not one to complain; you're still the same, and will always be my big blister
As Rosemary's remarked, all must embark, on this venture and blessed occasion
It fits the great plan, and one we can stand, for good moments, and a great celebration
Our recommendation, is to make accommodations at our house for all to enjoy
No need to presume; we've got plenty of room.  All are welcome to relax and rejoice

Papasmurf Speaks Out (Rev. Dr. David Sanders, D.D., Phd.)
Once I got started, I was whole-hearted, in perusing every word, link and picture
What a wonderful site; which I viewed with much delight, and enjoyed its mindful mixture
Whilst everyone is special, only few have such potential, to reach the essence of the pie
Thus, I really hit paydirt, then placed it as a favorite; so that others may benefit as I
I'm compelled to say, "thank you" this day, for being the person that you are
You nurture the light and beacon, to reach the bruised and beaten, laying a path so far

Y de eso ni la sal

Los Peruanos son humildes
Gente sincera de corazón
Hay que mostrarlo cuando quiera
Y hacerlo con compasión

Family Jealousies
Pip, pip, cheer-ee-oh and a rousing here I come
Be mindful, Tayls of brother Jack, as he's still second one
Jealousy and willful woes were brought out by mum's attention
She gave it all to you, my dear, whilst Jack was hardly mentioned
Daddy's death was all too quick when you were just a lad
Jack and I played horrible tricks; but Marshall's were really sad
Mum would rather be with girls; alienating you boys so often as she did
I saw it in her treatment of Sarah and Glen; as was done in our homestead
It's good of you both to welcome us; Henry will make the plans
Louise and he are at odd ends; but that's the way it stands

The Reunion
It's fair to access, this is not too excess; all are invited to our house for the party
Most of the lot, will be picked up at one spot, where. mum, Jack and Tamsyn will be starting
Pip and the rest, shall also be our guests, most welcome at our enchanting abode
The rooftop is red, with a separate work-shed, and the first stop at One Great North Road

Jack's Retraction
Many years have gone by.  Frankly, no one knows why; the two boys are not really talking.
It was duly inflamed; the younger was blamed; for being taller and that was the sad thing
There's time to make peace.  Not too late for a feast.  It's better to love than to hate.
Since he's older than I, I'll give it a try, and turn it all to our God for its fate.

Tayler to Pip (changed)

Funny Films (Farce)
Flamboyantly fancy, flowered-fringed frames
Familiar faces flirt freely for flames
Fanciful, frolicking, fist-fighting fiends
Featuring famous fine friends for fun flings

Flavourful, farcical, funny, faked falls
For flexible fellas fleeing flimsy façades
Fastened foundations fit form-fixed flat floors
Faithful fans following fruitful, famed force

Fashioned frail figures fought fierce freezing frosts
Final full features filmed freckled-filled flaws
Fast, fervent, finishes followed fast fights
Failed, fated fortune, for frivolous flight

A Plausible Poem
This may be construed as a poem
Though no lines reach a metered form
It precludes any clause by not letting it pause
Yet remains as the writer's own

No conclusion nor beginning, indeed
Rhyming the last word in each phrase, impedes
What was lost, now is gained; who is really to blame?
Does it follow the path to the need?

Dreams
If experiencing a scene, inside you just seems
To replicate a moment once felt
Let it be known, it's not overblown
And happens quite often in dreams

To soar high in the air, beyond city street fairs
Above clouds that are billowy clumps
One's soul is as free, as one ought to be
It's the feeling of freedom that's rare

Faces of the past, are remembered at last
As subliminal sights fill one's head
Although one's mind wanders, it gleans what it ponders
As people and places amass

A Plausible Poem  (Continued)
This may be construed as a poem
Though no lines reach a metered form
It precludes any clause by not letting it pause
Yet remains as the writer's own

No conclusion nor beginning, indeed
Rhyming the last word in each phrase, impedes
What was lost, now is gained; who is really to blame?
Does it follow the path to the need?

Words follow thoughts to a theme
Effortless rules with no scheme
Unless it's given a name, it won't draw any fame
But the contents may fill a dry stream

Wistful, light scenes fill my head
It may be I've just gone to bed
My ears can still hear and my mind is quite clear
To jot down the good with what's dread

Office Travel
A runway is a freedom of choice
With no need to raise one's voice
A laughter contained is for the criminally insane
But wheels on chairs are just toys

Rolling objects may mar a waxed floor
It's the carpets with small gaps that are poor
Chairs may be swift, but not too equipped
As they crash against unwilling doors

The object is to travel at work
A chair has wheels without zerks
Ball bearings just crowd, where no grease is allowed
And no need for going berserk

One must be productive and paced
As salaries are paid out to each face
Drive your chair to each meeting and don't be caught eating
This is certainly not meant as a race

No bumping or drag racing fools
All must abide by the rules
Each chair has been tested, no one's been arrested
Governed by the strict chair-motoring pool

Nostalgic Memories
Images focus in and out of one's mind
Much like a camera's lens, set to unwind
Faces remembered from childhood and beyond
In cities well-travelled on trips short or long

Circles of friends in a book filled with past deeds
Many of which, are now, just fond memories
Items stored in a trunk that once shined like new
In attics or basements tucked away from view

Wailing Walls
A wall filled with poems is like a bad dream
Words often fade but compel one to scream
Shadows highlighted by accents of whim
Do not match the curtains nor windows within

Patterned soft quilts and paintings of plastic
Care-worn by years are still quite majestic
Long hanging tapestry treated for years
Dwarf poetic walls as fools dry their tears
